Opportunities
We at TRAQ 3D believe that new technologies can propel us to a time when good health
and enhanced performance are simply the byproducts of fun and healthy play. We believe
that science and technology can create a virtual playground where most people can
literally play their way to superb fitness, just like athletes. Truth is, we had
grown tired of mindless exercise programs. Everyone knows that exercise is vital
to health and wellbeing, but for most people it’s boring. We concluded that it is
a shame that mentally stimulating video games exercise only fingers and wrists.
How cool it would be if exercise could be as much fun and as engaging as video games.
We also knew from our previous work with computer-based simulation in the fields
of healthcare and sports science that the type of movement driving our exercise
program was essential to maximizing results.
Our team felt well prepared to undertake the task of creating this new exercise
experience. Our development team had extensive professional expertise in simulation,
exercise science, program design, medical instrumentation and equipment manufacturing,
as well as the practice of health care. It was this collective experience that made
us so respectful of the healthcare adage: “If you can’t measure, you can’t manage.”
Development of a tool for the measurement of previously immeasurable components
of movement became a prime objective. Our task was to mature the TRAZER technology
to build our dream.
Upon completion of the core TRAZER technology that would power the “ultimate interactive
fitness experience”, we proceeded to develop the TRAQ 3D health/fitness experience.
Our initial clinical and performance enhancement clients’ success with TRAQ 3D’s
computer-controlled movement drills, functional testing procedures, heart-rate controlled
activities, and interactive games has helped us see over the horizon to what is
really possible with simulation --our goal of a compelling experience combining
the magic of virtual reality with sports science and simulation. The result is the
TRAQ 3D franchise opportunity.
